These selections date over a long period with many relating to works in Wardy’s various stylistic categories. They are arranged according to their estimated chronology. The following are some of the connections between these works and those in the categories previously seen.

a) Number 1 dates during the timespan of Category 5 (1975 to 1976) and relates to the use of horizontal line.
b) Numbers 5 and 6 date during the timespan of Category 8 (1980 to 1981).
c) Number 12 dates about 1982.
d) Number 26 dates about 1984
e) Wardy created selections 27 to 32 between 1986 and 1988 after the birth of his daughter, Meredith, in late 1985. In their treatment of form and color, they were meant to be playful to hold a child’s attention.
f) Wardy did two large paintings (33,34) inspired by a photograph of a computer’s motherboard, about the same time as Category 13 (1986 to 1987).
g) The white plaster sculpture with wire (35) shares the timespan of two of Wardy’s sculptures in Category 22 (1999 to 2000) in which wires hold elements together and are linear accents.
h) Numbers 36 to 40 date about 2006 to 2007.
i) In the series of black ink drawings (45 to 49), likely dating sometime between 2012 and 2014, Wardy used a reed pen to experiment with quickly and incisively drawing changing contours and widths. Not all shown, there are 34 works in this series.
